Anthony Donaldson introduces New Zealand's most unique, energised and entertaining musical band. Two Minute Mysteries is a freshly created piece based on the theme of music for detective novels, films and television. Citing such influences as Dangerman, Callan and Get Carter the show comes complete with live foley, ripper dialogue and corners that don't need cutting! The Village of the Idiots formed in 2002 and have since astounded audiences in Wellington and Auckland with shows such as Cargo Cult and The Missionary Position, House of the Damascus Horn and Oils of Ulan.
Anthony Donaldson is a veteran percussionist and leading figure in NZ's improvised music scene for over 20 years. He is one of the journeymen of his time
